eCampus Hotline-Support
Our hotline support is available from Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 16:00 and will help you quickly and easily with your enquiries.

The eCampus team advises and supports you with all questions regarding the use of eLearning. Feel free to make an appointment with us if you would like to have a Zoom consultation for questions or more detailed concerns instead of communicating via email.

Training for Student Assistants
In order to support student assistants in expanding their knowledge and skills in the area of eLearning, we also offer eCampus training courses for them upon request.
eCampus instructions and tutorials make it easier for you to get started with eLearning and support you in your daily work with eCampus.

eLearning for Students
In this section, your students will find information about our learning platform eCampus, as well as additional offerings and services for digitalised learning.
New Forms of Learning and Teaching
Virtual Collaboration (ViCo).In three virtual meeting rooms, students can develop the necessary skills independently, collaboratively and constructively. These three digital learning spaces are being developed on the topics of “Annotations on Media”, “Scientific Computing” and “3D Realities”.
The Bonn Center for Higher Education (BZH) coordinates and promotes university initiatives in the area of open educational resources. Our teachers are supported in the use and creation of freely licensed teaching/learning materials by offering information, qualifications and support.
Media Center (ULB)
The media center in the MNL branch library offers PC workstations, technology rental and training and networks the university's cross-media offerings.
PreCampus: Learning Platform for the Preliminary Courses
PreCampus is the central learning platform (ILIAS) for our university's pre-course programs and is independent of eCampus. PreCampus is operated by the eCampus team and the providers of the pre-course program.
The German Research Network (DFN)
The DFN communication services can be used by employees of the University of Bonn.
Media Lab (BZH)
Media laboratory for high-quality media production in teaching. A media lab is being set up at the BZH to use the potential of digital media in university teaching. Here, lecturers receive support in the production of teaching materials – thanks to comprehensive equipment and expert advice.
ILIAS & ILIAS.NRW
The eCampus learning platform is based on the learning management system ILIAS, which has been in use at the University of Bonn since 2012.
ILIAS.NRW is part of the digitization agreement of the universities in NRW and provides support for the needs-based application and further development of technology, support and didactics of the learning management system ILIAS.
